A series of limited edition prints developed from original collages. The 'Wrong Right Hand' series is made of drawings contemporaneous with the period between 1914-18, which include a number of found historical and archive images and photographs from Mount Stuart and Glasgow Museums collections. The figures swap right hands and arms with the statue of War, that stands in front of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, whose arm was ‘lost’ from 1941 until retrieval from the River Kelvin by a member of the public during the particularly dry summer of 1995.

This series is part of Borland's major commission for 14-18 NOW (the UK's arts programme marking the First World War centenary) and Glasgow Museums, supported by The Art Fund. Between 2017-2018 Borland was invited to research and respond to Glasgow Museums’ World War I collection.

In the same year, she was invited by Mount Stuart to respond to the historic house and its collections and particularly its history as a WWI naval hospital. The resulting exhibition 'to The Power of Twelve' comprised an inter-related series of new works making reference to lesser-known histories of the Great War and particular aspects of Mount Stuart’s wartime role.
